Every scar is assessed individually to determine whether camouflage is suitable.
Scars need to be minimum 6 months old before we start treatment.

What is scar camouflage?
A specialised pigment-matching treatment that helps blend a scar with the surrounding skin tone, making it less noticeable.
What types of scars can be treated?
Scar camouflage can be suitable for surgical scars, injury scars, tummy tuck scars and other healed scars, subject to assessment.
How does scar camouflage work?
A custom-blended pigment is implanted into the skin to help match the colour of the surrounding area.
Will the scar disappear completely?
No. Scar camouflage doesn’t remove the scar or change its texture, but it can reduce the colour contrast and make it less noticeable.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients require a minimum of two sessions, with around 6 weeks between treatments.
Is scar camouflage permanent?
Results are long-lasting, but pigments can gradually fade over time and may require a refresh.
Does it hurt?
Some discomfort can be expected, but most clients find the treatment manageable.
When can I treat my scar?
The scar must be fully healed, stable and suitable for treatment. We’ll assess this during your consultation.
Can scar camouflage be used on all skin tones?
Yes, colour matching can be tailored to a wide range of skin tones. Suitability is assessed individually.
What happens after treatment?
The area may initially appear darker or more pronounced while healing. The colour settles as the skin heals, and you’ll receive full aftercare advice.
